Colors...R29 - Technical or Practical Reasons

Howdy folks...we need to make a decision in the next 24 hours on color...we have three options:

Light Grey
Red
Blue

Subjectivity aside, are there technical or practical reasons to choose one over the other?

I've understood that the darker colors take heavier UV damage and then need work more frequently...but is this a huge difference or a rounding error?

And is there a practical way to mitigate the UV damage...say covered moorage or ceramic coating or ?

Hi, I had a claret red R29. I got ceramic coat shortly after purchase and 4 years later it still looked great with no additional work other than updating the ceramic with a spray bottle. There are LOTS of ranger/cutwater boats in my marina and the blue boats generally look nice (a few have obviously been neglected), though I don't know how much work the owners put into them.

I have no data to back this up but someone told me the resale market for red boats is not as strong as other colors. ie. Harder to sell, lower resale value. Again, I have no idea if that is true in practice but might be worth doing your own research.
