2022 R-31 new owner, what is the sequence for switching from the Main Cabin control to the Command Bridge Helm Station? I have been able to switch stations but only through a random sequence of operations of the controls.

I'm not sure if your controls are similar to mine but if so, then normally to transfer control from the helm to the CB I just have to push the "Station" button on the CB controls. An active station should show a green light on the Station button.

However, you can lock out other stations by pressing the Station button twice, at which point you will also have a Red light on the Station button. To unlock and use other stations then you have to press the Station button again, the red light should go out, and allow you to transfer control.

Also, the control levers have to be in Neutral on both stations

We switch stations all the time. It’s easy. Say you are operating the cabin station. Go to neutral ten make sure the station you want to move to is also in neutral. Press the station button on the on the shift controller you are going to use. You will hear a beep and now have control for shifting and throttle there.

Steering can still be done at any of the station as it’s a hydraulic system. Also autopilot can still be controlled from any chart or autopilot control pad. Totally different system than the Volvo controls.
