Command Bridge, or not command Bridge... that is ?

Good point about the height limitation. I’m curious about the R29 CB, it’s height, and if the covered slips at Edmonds Marina and Everett Marina would present challenges.

FYI... There's no problem for the covered slips at Edmonds for the R29 CB.

Good to know Barry. One difference between Edmonds and Everett is that Edmonds allows for a 2’ overhand rather that Everett’s 1’ max. I plan to go to both tomorrow. They are each 40 minutes away for me, so I have to get my name on the waitlist at one or both.

When I had my boat at Everett, I had to lower the mast and radio antenna coming into my covered slip. I'm now in Anacortes, and there's no problem.

Is that because there are no covered slips offered at Anacortes (Cap Sante) ?

No, I'm in a covered slip at Anacortes Marina. They're just much taller than at Everett.

Thanks Brad.... I was unaware that Anacortes Marina (Cap Sante) offered covered slips. I do see that Anacortes Marina is not same as Cap Sante - my mistake. 🙂

Brad, how cumbersome of a task is it to lower the mast? I’m curious. I’m curious if all covered slips at Everett are the same height. What length slip did you have? I’m assuming a 36’?

Lowering the mast was easy. I'm not sure if the newer models are different, but since they're trailerable boats, it's assumed they will be raised and lowered frequently, so Ranger Tug designed them with that in mind.
I think my slip was 32 ft, but I don't remember for sure. I know I told them I had bow and stern thrusters for close quarters maneuvering and they put me in a slip with a narrower fairway than they would have otherwise. It was cheaper than the slip they first assigned.

I’ve read a great number of pro-command bridge comments, especially from those who’ve invested in Bimini & full enclosure.

Since the whole idea of Ranger Tugs is simplicity, are there any whose conscious decision to not go with all this are very happy with their choice, giving them better or more solar options, easier storage or such who could comment? It’s hard to figure this out ahead of time... thanks for comments in advance!
