Has anyone been using the Commodorizer in place of converting the head to a fresh water flush for odor control? If so, does it actually work? Seems like an easier fix than converting. Thanks!!

I have one, works as advertised. Satisfied with it.

I had every intention of installing one, however, I tried the vinegar flush technique that is well described on Tugnuts. It worked well and now I carry a gallon of Costco vinegar at all times and have had no odor issues from the raw water line.

It’s worked well for us so far. Installed in last August and boat several times a month even throughout the winter. Slight smell of bleach or chlorine when flushing but much better than the alternative. There was a small “flare up” but that was after de-winterized and on the original tab. New tab and a longer flush and it’s good to go.

I installed one too. Works as advertised so far. No fuss and easy install. Tablets seem to last forever.

I’ll add that I changed the membranes back of toilet when I installed mine as well. I put the commoditizer in the center lazerette with 15ft plus between it and the head.

I’ve installed in on my C32 CB and it works great! Highly recommend
