Subject: Communicating to 1st Mate via Bluetooth
Technology advances continue to amaze me. With this in mind, we have to buy a new pair of Hearing Aids (HA) for 1st Mate as she recently lost/mislead one of her HA which unfortunately was for her best hearing ear. 1st Mate is stone deaf without the use of HA. The dogs have pled innocence so I have to think the HA vanish down the head along with tissues etc.
In my research for new HA I've found some that will be released by end of this month. They are ReSound ENZO Squared (that's 2**2). They are spendy but do offer super power and an 83 dB gain along with being Bluetooth compatible. One of the accessories is a small clip on Mic that I can use to speak directly into 1st Mate's ENZO HA via the Bluetooth communication. This has to be a benefit when we're on the boat for sure.
