Condensation in compass

We have condensation in the lower compass on our R31CB. Does anyone have a solution? Normally on north side when docked, so no direct sunlight. Heat gun or hair drier?

Time for a new compass.
 
As already noted, it would be better to either replace or rebuild the compass.

Compasses can usually be refilled. Most use very refined mineral spirits.
