It looks very interesting for someone who once again has to be fed a continuous stream of information rather than simply enjoying being out on a boat. I'm quite happy with the engine information that I have available on the Volvo display and that I can easily read also from the Garmin display if I wish. I doubt that my friends and relatives need to receive instant information about my location, engine oil pressure and temperature. They may think that was a bit "in your face".
All that being said, if the interface kit is no more than $50 installed at my dealer I will probably buy it. I've always been a sucker for technology.
