Connecting the two halves of the Ranger Tugs

Currently a no boat owner
I'm curious as to how these two components are connected and what means do you use to assure that there is no separation. Also how the connection is sealed.

My understanding is that they are joined with 5200 adhesive before the rub rail is fastened.
 
We install the Deck and hull together by a process that is known as a "shoe box fit." The Deck overlaps the hull and is then sealed and bonded with 5200 Marine grade sealant. It is also mechanically fastened all the way around by the rub rail.
 
Thank You, all of you who have contributed to the answer about connecting the two halves. Though we have yet to purchase our first Ranger, we are really pumped about getting a chance to view all the different Tugs that will be at the September 2010 rally. We most likely will focus on the R21 as to the need to learn a bit about the mariner world is a big priority for us. We have a few years to go yet until we could devote enough time to justify the bigger craft.
