Has anyone converted their electric stove top to induction? I've been giving that some thought. Not sure how straightforward that would be, seems like you might have to remove the oven to make the swap. Not sure what induction cook tops fit the space.
I like induction as it uses less electricity and is easier on the batteries, especially on the hook. I wouldn't have to use the generator as much. I have a portable induction burner that I run off the inverter. Does a wonderful job at only 900 watts, vs the 1200 watts per burner the electric cook top uses. The princess electric cook top seems to draw power faster than my batteries can provide. However, setting up the portable induction burner can be a hassle.
Maybe someone has experience to share.
Thanks,
