cooling water alarm

I'm planning on installing an Aqualarm cooling water and exhaust alarm on my 2012 R25SC. I just want to confirm that the hose from the strainer to engine is 1 1/4" ID.

On my 2008 R25 it's 1" or 25mm.

The hose size should be printed on the hose and I know the current size is an 1 1/4".

Unfortunately the length of hose on my boat has the manufacturer name but is to short to include the hose size - only about 2 ft long and it looks like the size would have been the next thing in print.
