Subject: Crabbing season opens for my PNW area today (the 4th)
Will be going out with the excited family to drop some pots..... will have a flag flying of course to celebrate the 4th. We've been waiting for this with much patience.... can only crab Thursdays - Mondays from today to early Sept.
This year I will attempt to encourage the older grandkids to reach into the retrieved pot and extract the crabs, check their gender and measure them.... I've been doing all this in the past and it's about time they step up to the plate and learn things. I'm hoping they will accept the challenge. :lol:
