I'd like to recognize and commend the suppliers of the major parts and systems of our tug that have been designed and manufactured to provide durable, trouble-free service for an extended period. Roam is an eight-year-old R-25 Classic with over 1800 engine hours in a combination of fresh and salt water. We've spent over 500 nights aboard and trailered her for over 25,000 miles.
Here's our list, in no particular order, of systems that continue to provide good service apart from normal maintenance. Some of the suppliers have been changed over the years, and other boats have certainly had different experiences. I feel these suppliers deserve recognition, not for fixing problems efficiently, but for providing a product that doesn't require repair.

AFI - Wipers and motors
Side Power - Thrusters and controller
Raymarine - Chartplotter, radar antenna, depth sounder, VHF Radio
Ritchie - Compass
Fluid Motion - Hull Construction and Interior Carpentry
