...well, now we're going to need a keel and ballast. I think we're on to something. Wait! It's my 40-year-old 30-foot sloop...if I swap out the 18-hp Yanmar engine for a 200-hp D3 and throw in $60K of marine electronics and comfort/entertainment gear...oh, yeah..the oars, too.

You know, the longest leg between diesel stops up to Alaska and into the Arctic Ocean (just travel around Little Diomede and head south) is only 450 miles from St Paul Alaska to Nome. Just saying... 🙂
