Just curious how many people trailer their boats into the Canada Vancouver Island area? Or maybe Prince Rupert? We have a Cutwater 28 that we trailer all the time from central Oregon and are looking for others we could connect with. We seem to be a bit more adventurous than not. Anchoring/stern tying is good.

We trailer ours from Wisconsin to Anacortes but would be interested in Prince Rupert as a destination.

Thank for your reply! We should talk more. Not sure if Prince Rupert is on this year’s list but we might be able to make a future plan. Should we connect again?

We pulled our boat out at Port Edwards, near Prince Rupert, last year. They have a travel lift at the boatyard that we used, since we don't dip our trailer in salt water. If you want to concentrate on SE Alaska and don't want to see northern coastal B.C. , it saves a lot of time, fuel and engine hours compared to launching in Anacortes or southern B.C.

This year we've decided on launching in Anacortes and spending more time in Southern BC before heading north to Alaska.
