In my 2011 25SC, there are two cupholders forward in the cockpit; one on each side. One is self draining, the other one holds water. It's odd to see them behaving differently after a rain. I've picked up the rubber disc in the bottom of the cupholder and see no provision for drain.

What is the intended draining method for these?

Same issue on upper helm of 29CB. Either drill a hole in the bottom of said cup holder and add a small drain nipple and hose, or wet vac. No idea why it wasn't provided for.

I had a 2010 25SC. There should be a drain tube on each one. The tube goes between the white and beige parts of the fiberglass so water drains to the cockpit. The holders may be siliconed in place and a bit difficult to remove.

We have a 2017 RT25SC normally kept in a boathouse so it doesn't see much rain. When at Roche a couple of years ago I got a leak that ended up with water in the aft end of the cave after heavy rain. When I got back home I couldn't find a source of the leak but suspected the drink holder. It really was difficult to remove and when I did get it out it was obvious there should have been a tube on the bottom of the fitting as described above. This was missing so I added one. On our boat it is very tight once replaced and the tube was squeezed. The holder fills with water when I wash the boat but eventually drains after days. I usually sponge it out. The leak in the cave has never recurred. I didn't want to go through the hassle of taking out the starboard holder and adding a tube but I didn't want a leak there so I just caulked the hole shut with clear sealant. When it fills with water I sponge it out. That only takes a minute.
