Some of you have guessed, some have heard rumors, some have asked . . .

YES! We have suffered acute “2-foot-itis” that, left untreated, developed into a very serious condition. Fortunately, Dr Andrew Custis developed an excellent treatment plan. We are saying farewell to our R25SC and purchasing a new R31 Sedan. Drastic as it may seem, this treatment plan should prevent recurrence.

A few details are still being worked out – like a delivery date. But the new vessel should be in Portland, OR, in time for some fall cruising on the Columbia River. We will post pictures when she gets here. She will keep the same name: The spirit of Then Again continues.

That sickness is going around......... Dr. Custis' cure is not covered by my insurance plan......yet

Andrew is certainly on a roll these days..... BTW... Congratulations. 🙂

Congrats L&L!! Keeping the same slip at Rocky Pointe? We were walking by Then Again just yesterday as we moved our boat up to Bellingham for the summer. Are you planning to live aboard?

Congrats!!!! I never understood 2-foot-itis. We went from a 20 foot bow rider to the R29CB. 😀 We went for it. And glad we did! We are enjoying our ride, coming up a 2 year anniversary!

There has to be a limit to foot-itis for most of us. For some it's 21, or 25, or 27, or 29, or 31, or 38 and so on. Getting up to 3 digits is really only for the financially endowed.

The other day when Judy Woodruff was interviewing Warren Buffett he said he's been on the BIG 100-foot+ Yachts, milled around with the rich and that he's simply happy without such things and lives happily in his old house. Judy did say he was a very happy person for sure.

One of the issues with boating with having just two people on board is a case when one of the persons becomes incapacitated or is incapacitated; in this case, can the one person handle the boat ? This aspect will limit foot-itis, or it should for safety reasons.
