Anyone know why there are no snaps to secure the curtains on the forward port/starboard side windows? Other curtains are secured when closed by snaps.
The small Velcro adhesive squares that were on the curtains don't stay on.

Don't know why they're not. Same thing on my R29. I just bought a snap kit and installed one myself. Trust me: once you have a snap kit, you'll invariably find a bunch of other things that you never knew "needed" snaps! (It's a great "tiny" investment!)

Since you are already going down that path in the maintenance regime, invest in one of those little kits that clean and lubricate the snaps ... only need to do it a couple of times a year. They are inexpensive and make BIG difference in the snaps!

Great idea! Could you share the details about the snap kit you bought?

We bought a standard snap kit from Amazon. West Marine also sells a kit. Just make sure it includes the male part with a wood screw to fasten it to the wood paneling. You will have to remove the curtains to install the female part. I don't know how to post links, so hope this helps.

I also TOTALLY agree about getting the snap cleaner as well. The system we have is "SNAPPI"... I actually bought a few extras and give them as gifts to people at my marina who help us out now and then. They are invaluable for maintaining the metal snaps on the exterior.

Smooth seas!
