We have a 27 tug and at night while at a marina it would be nice to have a curtain on the inside to pull across the bow windows, any idea of what we can do. This would eliminate putting on the window covers on the outside. Thanks

We actually take the outside canvas and use it on the inside. Just added a few more snaps to the inside and works great. Also no more taking wet canvas off the bow before we head out.

Last year the Mrs made all new curtains for the interior. She also made a piece to go across the forward windows on the inside held up by 5 snaps. Very easy to put up and take down and it also looks good. We also leave it up during the day to block out the sun while at the dock. She lined the fabric also.

Brian,

Do you have a photo of the one blocking off the forward section?

Thanks

I don't but give me a couple of days and I'll post some.

We followed Don and Brenda's lead. Took ten minutes to put in snaps that allow you to use the front cover. Not real neat and tidy, but by doing double duty it saves on having to store something else on the boat.

This is the privacy curtain for the bow windows my wife made. She also made curtains for the side windows, all were lined. I bought the snaps that screw in at West Marine. The fabric snaps we found at a craft store and they came with the the tool to install them. Total of 5 snaps, one in each corner and one by each wiper motor.

We have also used the outside canvas on the inside. I snap the two end snaps to the ones used for the side curtains and then use large binder type clips to clamp it to the wood that crosses behind the TV. We use this method when we are traveling and are just staying for the night. Nice curtains such as the ones Brian has for Gansett Ranger are much more appealing when on a long stay.

We used a track similar to the one that all the other curtains are on and made a curtain that slides in it and ties on the left side. Actually, my mother made the curtain. It has a shiny material facing the outside and a nautical print facing the inside. It works great and looks very built in.

Do you have pictures and a source of supply for the parts
?

Thanks
