Yes your boat has a cutlass bearing, however I'm not sure of the size, when you remove the old one you will know the size and can order one from your marine supplier at that time. I helped my brother replace his a few winters ago, if I remember correctly it only took a few days to get a replacement.

Larry, my brothers boat is a mid 1990 model R-21 and it had a cutlass bearing that we replaced, I can't remember the size and if it was 4in or 6in long. I'm sure that my 2009 R-21 EC has one as that's what keeps the shaft aligned, the boot and packing gland is used to keep water out, not keeping the shaft aligned. Bob
