Cutwater 24 gas engine

Does anyone here have experience with the Cutwater 24 240HP gas Volvo engine? Upsides/downsides, top speed, cruising, fuel usage at given RPM, etc.

I don't about fuel economy. But a 24' boat with 240 hp ought to fly. I'm think why not give factory a call? Pretty new model and I don't know how many have made it to the outside world yet.

All 24' I've seen have an outboard.

Anyone have the speeds on a 24 Cutwater outboard when it has fuel water and supplies on board?

Still wish they would give us a twin 150 outboard option... I'd go with the standard 300 Yamaha outboard rather than the stern drive. Be real nice to leave that space below the cockpit for storage and ease of service on the outboard is a consideration.

Me too. If I had the option of outboard vs stern drive I'd go with the outboard without thinking. My problem is that the 24' is too small.

The stern drive also has a large raised floor section in the cockpit leaving no room to walk around.
