Cutwater 24 waste holding tank level

How do you monitor the waste holding tank level in a 2018 Cutwater 24 coupe?
We can’t seem to get return calls from our dealer at Manitowoc Marine since our purchase (months ago) nor from Cutwater recently. Is there a viewport or gauge for the holding tank? Thanks.

On my C28 I just hold a flashlight on it and I can see the level through the plastic.

We installed a SCAD tank monitor on our Cutwater 24. The link to this system at Defender is

It cost about $180 and employs as sensors two metal adhesive tapes on the side of our plastic holding tank. Getting access to the tank on our Cutwater required cutting a hole through the plywood panel on the riser of the steps leading down to the V-berth.. Wires from the fuse block behind the helm provided the needed 12 volts DC. I mounted the monitor panel, with wires going to the sensor tapes on the holding tank, on the forward wall of the head. It works great and with the small holding tank is really necessary. (Copied from an earlier posting)

Second the recommendation of a SCAD monitor. We got one on the recommendation of Curt on Red Raven. Very happy with it so far. The flashlight system didn't work on our R27 Classic. Thought it was full when it wasn't and vice versa.

Hello,

We have recently started to install a deck plate above the vberth step in the wood panel thats there for inspection. It gives you a clear view directly to the tank. You maybe hard pressed to get some sort of indicator installed due to the space that is available. Let me know if you have questions and please feel free to email me direct, my email is below.
