Cutwater 28 Roll tendencies at anchor

I have not seen any posts on the use of flopper stoppers to reduce roll while at anchor. How well do the 28s or any of the Cutwaters do at anchor? With the narrow beam I thought there might be some excessive rolling?

I suppose if you were in an exposed anchorage with poor weather you might have some issues, but I certainly have never had a night where pitch or roll was an issue.

I'm going to breath new life into this thread rather than start another.

We're purchasing a 2016 Ranger 27, and I am a bit concerned about that narrow beam when we're at anchor. Seems like any waves or wake would roll the boat a bit, which could make for uncomfortable nights down below. One possible aid is hanging one or two flopper-stoppers off the side. I'm wondering if any of you Ranger or Cutwater owners have done this, and how well it works? What have you rigged for that pole?

Or am I being concerned about something that's really a non-issue?

Never been an issue for us. Noise from wind and waves slapping the hull have been bigger issues. Of course we always try for a very protected anchorage. The waves also usually come from the same direction as the wind so usually taking the waves on the bow if there are any.

I thought our C28 rolling at anchor would be an issue but that has not been the case. I have flopper stoppers in my Amazon save for later list.
