cutwater 28
We were down to the Cutwater factory for a look at our new Cutwater, the changes they made are looking real well...Our boat is still powered with the Yanmar engine 🙂 We met with Mark Mansfield, great group of guys to deal with, boat is looking really good....can't wait!!! four more weeks till delivery🙂)
Merry Christmas All

Ron

Congratulations! What kind of changes did they do?

cockpit roof overhang goes across the cab of the boat, the original covered just partially.
the cockpit gate to the swim deck latches open now, instead of just swinging back and forth.
LED lighting.
Rod holders on the roof.
coffee machine was taken out.
Changed the stove and oven to propane.
optional fish well, instead of the cockpit seat.
Added cup holder at the cockpit searing station.
grab rail and step at cockpit steering station.
headboard in the birth.

Added a couple pics to my photo album! Check them out

Hey

I'm looking at pricing for a Cutwater right now. Any chance to find one for under 100K? Purchase date 2013

The Ranger/Cutwater folks are good listeners. A couple of your changes were recommendations we made, and perhaps some others made as well.

With the starting price of the 26 at $139, 937, by the time you add on more accessories, I would think it's going to be a few years before you see any used ones below $100k.

I think if you look around, you would be lucky to find a loaded up cutwater 28 demo for 180k, 100k is just a little light I thin...

Sounds like the one at the Tampa show. Was that one yours?

I suppose anything is possible, but I don't think you should actually plan on beng able to do so.

I can only think that a $100K Cutwater in 2013 would be a C26 with some fairly serious issues.

Thanks, my tired old eyes missed that on the small screen of the tablet I'm using at the moment!

No it's not the one, I ordered my from the factory,
As fare as the 100k, yes you are probably right about the 26 cutwater..

Thanks for the info all! I'm living in the interior of Alaska right now. So this purchase is a little ways off. But, when I am ready to pull the trigger I'll look for that demo... 🙂

When Jarrett says he lives in the interior of Alaska, I can attest to that. He lives on the AFB which is 35 miles south of Fairbanks. Maureen and I have been there in the winter and have seen the thermometer hit 62 below zero! In fact, a nice winter day is when it gets to 30 below and the sun comes out....... They call it "shorts" weather!

Jarrett and his family along with all of the others serving our country put up with an incredible winter at this location!

I would like to thank Jarrett and his family along with all of the other men and women that are stationed in such places. What they do to insure our freedom is incredible!

David and Maureen
