Davit for RIB Outboard

Has anyone installed a davit to handle the RIB outboard on an R-27OB? I'm planning to do it, and I would like to see how others have handled it.

Just installed Garhauer davit

had 18" cut off of the mast and it works great. I can lift my 9.9 yamaha off of it's storage mount and onto our True Kit catamaran inflatable by myself if necessary but effortlessly with 2 people.

Unfortunately it's in storage for winter but I will try to post photos of the mount tomorrow.

Why not just mount a crab/shrimp pot puller with a swing boom?
You already have power with your downrigger pads the cost is about the same and you will get duel use if you go crabing or shrimping. Bob

I have a Garhauer set up on my R23 which I use to hoist my dinghy up onto the roof. However it’s not a rib and the motor is off. If you PM with an email I’ll send you some pics….

FYI: I have a very lightly used Garhauer lift available (acquired from Brian Brown). Bought it in advance of my boat delivery-never used it.
