I just got my copy of the latest Sea Magazine. As I was scrolling through I came to pg 40, an article titled "Almost Alaska". As I was looking at the picture I noticed a Ranger Tug tied to the dock and I recognized it as Island Ranger. You might like to get a copy of the magazine if you don't subscribe. Good job Mac and Linda; she looks beautiful.

Thanks!

I got a call from Dennis (Tug of My Heart II) already - he spotted it, but I haven't seen it yet. I'm still looking for a copy of the magazine here on Whidbey - I don't subscribe - but now I might 🙂 Please hang onto your copy in case I don't succeed - I would really like to see it. - ... Wonder if I'm gonna get any royalties????

Mac,
I will definitely hang on to the magazine in case you can't get a copy.

Mac,
Page 44 of the digital version.

Not to take anything away from Mac and Linda's tug's cameo appearance, but thanks for the link to Sea Magazine - that is a great on-line version. Since we travel so much these days, I have eliminated all my magazine subscriptions; it's nice to see one in a great on-line format.

Best wishes,
Jim B.

And Free also

Got it - thanks for the link. I too signed up for the free digital edition.

I remember the Bigger Juan II when she pulled in - didn't realize they were contributors/writers for Sea Magazine. Shoulda put on my best Captain's outfit and stood by for the picture!

BTW - the Marina at Port Harvey had just opened towards the end of last season. It's at a great spot - almost at the end of Johnstone Strait and well protected. Trails lead back into the woods - a good walk for us and the dogs. Limited supplies, limited restaurant, but a pleasant place to stop.
