Ranger tug 31CB 2023, kept under cover since new. First long trip out, on the Loop. First, a swim platform corner deck piece disappeared under way. Then a second large piece of the textured brown swim platform covering nearly flew off. A third piece, on the steps to the CB came off with minimal lifting. None of the three pieces had much adhesive on them at all, clearly factory defective application. Will Ranger make good on these lost deck panels? What adhesive can I use on the ones that have come off? Quite upset about this.

www.raptordeck.com (tele: 360-775-6039) can sell you individual pieces and if you properly prepare the surface installation is not very difficult. (Prior to them being factory installed I ordered Raptor Deck for just the sections of the deck we wanted covered and my information is now 5 years old.)

Thanks, Todd. I would really like to hear something back from Ranger. Another 2 panels lifted off today. Virtually no adhesive on panels or deck.

I've noticed some adhesive issues on some other aspects of my boat, but not the decking so far to speak of. I just re-glue with appropriate adhesive when necessary. I have heard others talk about the deck covering problem though. Speaking with one of the foam deck covering vendors at the Boat Show, I understand it's not a big deal to replace it yourself if desired. I can't seem to get mine clean enough for my satisfaction, I'm going to replace it sooner rather than later simply for aesthetic purposes (plus, I can get a custom design!).

Hi georgeboarhunter, I'm sorry to hear about your decking. The fastest way to get help with this is to call our office directly at (253) 839-5213. If they are on the other line and can't pick up, please leave a message and they will call you back asap. Tugnuts is great for community discussion, and the customer service team tries to answer the "Ask the Factory" forums as frequently as possible but a phone call is the best method to communicate with our customer service team. Thank you!

Sam
