Any tips or ideas ?
does the D3 go slow enough to troll the springs are in salmon inlet right now?
we will be seeing you in Desolation Sound this year we have already booked 21 days off for the trip. our home in Sechelt Inlet. will get photos next week of the delivery to the Lighthouse Pub/Marina.

Welcome! Love the name Tug-Alishus! 😀

Congratulations on the new Tug. I'm just across the pond at Comox and will be taking delivery of a 2011 R25 in 3 weeks. Interested in comments from others regarding the trolling speed.

I don't fish so I'm not sure what is slow enough. My Think we move at around 3 knots at idle in our R27. Pretty quick. There are posts on this board regarding trolling options. Search for "trolling".

Congrats on the new tug. We will be christening our new R27 HMS "TugEtherness" in two weeks over on Quadra Island. Great to see all the new Ranger's popping up in our neighbourhood. Hope to meet you all in Desolation Sound. Kim & Ed

Originally you asked for tips or ideas??
There is probably some engine break in procedure that should be followed somewhat before you go trolling for too long.
(Actually I'm just afraid you will catch all the fish before I get there!!! :| )

I believe there is a trolling valve option for your diesel to slow it enough for fishing. Alternate would be using your tender kicker on a swim platform mount.

Kenin & Laurie , Congratulations on your new toy.
Hope to see you out on the water.

Getting a User Photo Album is easy but it requires submitting a request from within the site structure.

1. Sign on to the site, if you aren't already.

2. Select the User Control Panel link from the upper left corner of any page. Note: On the home page, this link is in your user menu in the upper right.

3. Click the Usergroups tab, then select the radio button next to the User Albums group.
Scroll down, choose "Join selected" in the drop-down menu, and click the Submit button.

Once you do this, an email is automatically sent to the administrator (me). That message will trigger my ability to approve your request, and you'll receive an email indicating your membership in the User Albums group has been activated.

I'll watch for the message, and look forward to seeing your pictures.

Cheers,

Bruce
