Depth sounder cable routing R 31

Looks like I have a faulty transducer or cable on my new R 31. Had the local Garmin tech aboard and it looks like we need to replace the transducer and fish a new cable up the electronics bay behind the helm. Anyone done this? Have any hints since it looks to be a tough job. Sent Andrew an email but he may prefer to answer here.

Either Ranger or your dealer should make arrangements for the repair. I recommend contacting them.
