Desolation Sound Cruise 2013

Bruce,
That slide show was fantastic! Becky and I are really looking forward to this years trip. Speaking of which, Becky and I are planning on heading out from Port Orchard on the 24th or 25th of July and were wondering if anyone would like to meet up someplace and head up north together?
Rick

Those brought back some great memories! Can't wait for this year's cruise! Thanks Bruce!

Are you planning a straight run up to Ganges or will you layup somewhere on the way ?

Email sent.

Gregg and I are new R25SC owners, although we have not picked up Santolina yet. It's patiently waiting for us in the Ranger yard in Kent. When it warms up a bit more, we'll leave our warm winter climate in Texas and come to WA to get acquainted with our new boat. If anyone is in the Kent area, feel free to stop by and give our boat a pat!

As all new Ranger owners, we have a myriad of questions. Having met several owners at the Sept. 2012 Rendezvous we know there is a vast pool of knowledge for us to tap into. We look forward to getting to know the group better.

I think we were going to lay up somewhere, but if there is a group going up together, we will do as the group decides. We were thinking of Anacortes or Deer Harbor though.

Rick & Becky: Anacortes sounds good to me, plus it would give us a chance to get acquainted with that marina ahead of the September gathering. We normally stop over at La Conner on the way up north but Anacortes is but an hour or so further up the channel. As the time approaches let's make a plan to meet up. I'm sure there could be others making the trip in the same time frame as well. They can chime in between now and then.

Great pictures Bruce, can't wait for this years cruise. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones

We were thinking of shipping Blue Merle to Anacortes, and flying into Seatac early enough to provision and get ready.

Would love to meet up with other Tugnuts.

We will be heading up on July 24 or 25 to Anacortes then on to Ganges on the 26th so we will be happy to join any group heading out of Anacortes.

We will be heading up from Olympia on our new tug. Since this will be our first cruise with a group, we will be interested in joining you. Either Deer Harbor or Anacortes will work for us.

Barry and Gill, Lee and Sally, and Bob and Meg, and any others,
Great! It seems we might have a small group going up together. As Barry and Gill wrote, lets plan on meeting together at some time to get to know each other. We are also going to the Fisherman's Terminal group over Memoral Day if any of you are going to that to meet up and get to know each other. Becky and I are really looking forward to meeting you all.

Rick and Becky,
We won't make the Fisherman Terminal event since it is graduation weekend for our daughter from PLU. We have not been to Port Orchard so we will try to head up and check it out. I do plan to go to the program that Ranger is supporting in Everett March 16-17. Maybe we can meet if any of are planning to be there. Looking forward to meeting other Tugnuts.

We too are planning to attend the March 16-17 seminar coming in from Tucson. Based on last year it is a good opportunity to discuss joining a group for the voyage up to Ganges. See you there.
