Hi everyone! First off - I've finally transitioned from being a non member "lurker" on the site for the last two years, to joining the forum! Been years since joining one and I couldn't be more excited.
After two years of falling deeply in love with the R21 design, I finally found the perfect match two days ago after a long days of work. It was 8:55pm, so BARELY still appropriate to call the listing owner. I was relieved to have a great conversation with a wonderful individual, and at that moment I made up my mind it was going to happen. So the very next morning I drove from Seattle to Portland to meet up, and after an amazing test cruise on the Willamette River, as well as getting to know the owner, we sealed the deal. I drove home with a huge smile, but no boat - because there was no trailer included
So that leads me to a question: How have others handled the situation? Finding the right trailer doesn't seem easy. Hire a moving company? They aren't returning calls. Rent or borrow a trailer? I don't know anyone with an R21  Either way, I'm curious what your guys' recommendations would be, especially if you are in the Seattle area.
The R21 Classic will be living in the Puget Sound & Desolation Sound as an adventure vessel for deep sea videography, environmental cleanup & research, as well as some fishing & camping, all while being featured on my local YouTube show.
I truly could not be more excited to finally own a "real" boat and to be part of an amazing community! Had to share the story, and would love to connect with fellow local Tugnuts!
