I have my brand new C24 being delivered in less three weeks! I've searched the forum and haven't had any luck finding a good dinghy solution (or photos). With an outboard there's no option for davits off the back- I'm guessing my options are 1. kayak or something similar on the roof or 2. and inflatable that can be stored underneath the deck. I don't really think I need a motor (although I'd prefer one) as I'm going to use it infrequently.

Thanks in advance and, again, tried the search and had no luck.

I have an R-23, I'm using the 12 Kaboat rolled up in the center cockpit storage compartment. It takes 10 minutes to inflate propped up on the side rails, then just push it off stern first.

I just purchased a 28 lbs Suzuki 2.5 4 stroke $769.00 with free shipping. Ordered on Tuesday, received on Monday. If you happen to order from the attached link, use my name, Anthony Amalfitano, I get a $25 check... 😎

I'm a C242 wannabee, but we use a Sea Eagle 385ft on the top of our C-Dory. https://www.seaeagle.com/FastTrackKayaks/385ft

Despite their gimmicky website, the boat is very high quality, lightweight (36 lbs), and what I really like about it is that it is very easy and fast to paddle and I see no reason to have a motor. Easy to step in and out of over the side of the boat, even with our two little dogs. Of course it is only good for two people (with our 2 dogs) at a time. But very fun to use to just paddle and explore. Remarkably efficient too.

Thanks and this looks cool- and easy to stow deflated. I'm with you- i don't see the need for a motor yet. We'll plan to use it the few times we moor in the harbor or on a ball. More times than not we are in a marina.
