I have a 2012 R27. The Dining/Galley lights each have 2 bulbs in them. When there is one bulb in the light it works fine. When I insert a second bulb and turn the light on it blows the fuse. Has anyone else had this problem?

It has not been an issue for me. Does it happen if you alternate installing the bulbs or does it only happen with the same socket? If it happens with the same socket it could be a short in the socket. If it happens when putting the bulb in either socket it could be an improper fuse size ( to low amperage). Make sure the fuse size is for the proper wire gauge being used.

Check your light bulbs. They should have two center contacts which provide the power. If you insert while power is on there may be a chance of shorting them. Or if you use a bulb with a single center contact it may also short the two contacts.

Not sure why those are used. Double center contact bulbs are usually used with multi filaments for different wattage with ground Bing on the sleeve. But these bulbs do not seem to have ground on sleeve

Thank you for the reply. It was that I was trying to use replacement bulbs with single center contacts.
Don't know how I missed that but I appreciate the info.
