dipstick heater for oil change?

Anyone have experience using a dipstick heater (Kat's Engine Oil Dipstick Heater KH15200)
to warm oil for an oil change on a Yanmar 4BY2-150? Boat on trailer in a garage - engine water difficult to get.
 
In my opinion heating the oil is not as important as having it slosh around and mix things up. I would try to get water and run the engine a bit to mix it up and it will also warm up a bit as well. I don't think heating it will accomplish anything. remember you are using a multi-viscosity oil.
