Unfortunately, we have to sell ours (located in Michigan). I just posted a listing on the "For Sale" forum, so please check it out if you know of somebody who might be interested. There is a link in the listing to a YouTube video I created with lots of photos; unfortunately, it didn't work when I embedded it, so if you want to see them, here's another attempt at the link:

If you are looking for a well cared for, newer style R29S, I don't think you'll find one in as good of shape as Kari and Don's. In addition to being in exceptional condition this boat is loaded with factory options as well as the cockpit screens, new bottom paint job (only 2 weeks in the water) and interior privacy curtains they've installed.

I recently sold my Carver 355 and have been looking at the Ranger tugs. I looked at your youtube video and really like your boat, but it raises a question for me. Your boat has, @ time of video, 170 hrs. You stated that a recent survey showed $21,000 of repairs, maintenance, etc. needed. For a low hour 2015 model, is this normal to average $123.53 per hour of usage ?
I am still in the decision stage and looking at operating cost.

Thanks for any input you can give.

Hello Nomad69 - I sent you (or at least, I THINK I sent you) a private message in response to your question - although I should’ve just made it public. I don’t have this Forum thing figured out yet. Please let me know if you don’t get the message and I’ll try again. But, in brief, that $21,000 is WAY in excess of what you’d expect to pay for maintenance each year! Most of that money went toward updates/upgrades/improvements we personally wanted to do (plus some extra maintenance we decided to do just for added peace of mind). I sent my email address in the PM - feel free to ask me any questions!

Thanks for the PM explaining. We are in the beginning stages of trying to figure out what the next boat that fits multiple needs/wants will be.
