First time out on an extended cruise in the Chesapeake - life is great!!!!

While staying at marinas, I am asked if I need fresh water hookup. I say no as I use water out of the tank.

Does the 2018 R29-S have a dockside fresh water hookup? If so, where?

Thanks much!

Older model Ranger Tugs had a fresh water hose connection on the gunwale next to the regular fresh water metal screw cap filling port. If you are directly connected to the high pressure marina hose fitting you can have problems if any of the boat’s interior hoses or connectors fails. That’s why you don’t find these hose connections on newer RT models. We have never used our fresh water hose connector and don’t plan to.
There still is the large metal screw cap fresh water fill port that on most (all?) models on the starboard gunwale about mid-ship. We use up our fresh water tank about every 4 days on the hook+mooring buoy or so. So, filling up the fresh water tank when we visit a marina is an important part of marina stops while cruising.

Thanks - appreciate the info!
