I'm just guessing. It has a sanitation hose connected so It could be your heads raw water supply.

I’m not sure what it is, but it has a check valve in it. I’m thinking it should be double clamped, which leads me to believe someone else added it outside the factory?

I have a 2014 C30. On my boat that's the water for the head, and I think is also gets used if you use saltwater for your washdown.

I have a 2017 C28 and it is the raw water for the head. I have actually plugged my and changed mine to a freshwater with the proper kit from Rartin.

2018 C28 here and can confirm this is the raw water line for the head. Being in the Great Lakes, I probably won’t convert to fresh water but I was thinking about putting a strainer on the line.

How do You guys winterize that system? Seems harder since it doesn’t have a strainer. It’s original by the way. I wonder why they didn’t tee another off the strainer that feeds the AC and salt water wash down. That way it would be also strained before going to the head.

I guess I’ll pull the hose off the sea cock and stuff it in the antifreeze bottle. I wonder if it can suck from the bottle.

I believe there is no need to pull it off. Last year before i switched over to fresh water all I did was when boat was out of the water, fill the head with antifreeze and hold down the flush which sucked out any of the additional water that was in the lines to the head. held down for a 15 seconds or so and then added a little bit more antifreeze to the head and did the same. This all ends up in the waste tank which you need to then winterize as well. I had no problems but remember being similarly confused about how to go about it but this worked fine here in NJ.

It could be your strainer for your A/C
