The down rigger pads on my 2013 R25SC is right under a railing. The railing looks like it was designed to be removed. It likely hasn't been removed in 7 years, and will not come out easily (I took a rubber mallet to it, although I didn't use a lot of force). Does anyone have some advice, copious WD-40 for example? My main concern is forcing it out and won't be able to put back. I was unsuccessful in trying to attach a photo. Thanks for any advice.

I stacked some lumber on the gunnel high enough to use a 2x4 to pry up the railing. It’s a snug fit. Not a lot of room to be swinging a mallet.

We figured we would be trolling a lot more than cruising, so I used a pipe cutter tool and capped it with a black stool leg cap from Dollarama.

PB blaster, let soak overnight (bigger hammer or leverage as noted on prior post) both sides need to come up at same to prevent getting bent and stuck. Once out and cleaned, maybe a little sanding they will be easy to reinstall. I have the removable railing on my boat and had the same problem first time.
Good luck! Bob

Thanks all, good advice.
