Hi:

I just learned that the Dreamspeaker's authors Anne & Laurence will be at the 2013 Rendezvous at Cap Sante on Saturday.

If you've not seen or heard of their brand new "PUGET SOUND - A Boater's Guide" book it's a must-see IMO.

It covers Port Townsend down to Olympia, and includes Lake Washington and Hood Canal.

I have my copy in my hands and have been reading through it a bit each day now for several days and find it fascinating and a wonderful insightful and informative guide to the many places covered in the Puget Sound area.

Its format is different from all previous Dreamspeaker guide books as it's in landscape format and its spine is sturdy and allows the book to be opened with both opened pages laying almost flat down... one of my main suggestions to the Anne/Laurence as they sought early feedback.

The graphics Laurence has made for this guide book follow the same format as in previous Dreamspeaker guides, and make for very informative details for considering mooring or anchoring at each location described.

One of the useful items in each location's graphics is the approach waypoint for starting the entering for each anchorage. It's marked with a red star icon and the Lat/Long for it is given. In addition various alerts and directions are provided to help make the entering a safe course for you. Both Anne and Laurence have obviously spent a great deal of time at each location gathering much of the local information they have placed into the guide book.

Just for the record, I have no financial arrangement with Dreamspeaker and simply post this as a FYI to fellow Tugnuts. However, I will add, that we along with David & Maureen Baker were sponsors for the 1st Edition of this guide book, and Gill & I personally paid for our Laxey boat to be identified as the Ranger Tug "Homeward Bound" in the Edmonds Marina section of the guide book. 🙂

I sincerely say you will not be disappointed with this new Dreamspeaker guide book exclusively for the Puget Sound area.
