David, thanks for reminding us of this. They told us at Bremerton that they would be publishing a new guide. We enjoy using their products. The drawings are great for finding your way into an unfamiliar cove or marina.

Thanks David... appreciated. I regularly read portions of their books each week over a nice glass of red wine. 🙂

We have every one of their guides and have already ordered book #1 of the Puget Sound Guide. Anne and Laurence know how to write them where they are informative yet entertaining!

Don't wait to buy your exclusive copy. They will go fast!

It's not clear to me what the process is for ordering. Subsequently I've phoned and Emailed Anne/Laurence for this info.

[Edit]... Nov 4th... Have not heard back yet from Anne/Laurence at this point... 😱

I heard from Anne today via telephone.

Here's the process she gave me for ordering the new guide package...

Option 1. Goto your PayPal account (if you have one) and send $100 to the PayPal account yeadon-jones@telus.net. Be sure to fill out the Email boxes with Subject: Special Edition of the new Puget Sound Boaters Guide and a short note saying what your payment is for.

Option 2. Email Anne/Laurence at yeadon-jones@telus.net and request a PayPal invoice from Anne/Laurence. This will be a payment by Credit Card or from your PayPal account. This PayPal process requires you to add your desired shipping mailing address for receiving the guide package in May 2013.

Option 3. Email Anne/Laurence at yeadon-jones@telus.net and say that you want to pay by check. Make the check out to "Dreamspeaker Publishing Limited" and send the check to the following address. Make sure to indicate the payment is for the new Guide package and include your shipping mailing address if different from what's on the check for you to receive the new guide package in May 2013.

Dreamspeaker Publishing Limited,
605-2075 Comox Street,
Vancouver B.C.
V6G 1S2 – CANADA

Anne indicated please feel free to write, telephone or use the Dreamspeaker website to send your request or any enquiry about this new guide package to Anne/Laurence.

I've just used Option 1 so I will post back if this was successful... 😀

I entered the following in the Email text box...

"This is a payment for your full Special Edition Package including a personally signed, sealed and numbered copy of Puget Sound – A Boaters Guide; a hand-illustrated Dreamspeaker Passage Planning Chart of Puget Sound; and a Friends of Dreamspeaker Burgee. Thank you... Barry Sharp"

Can't wait for this Guide as the time for its release in May draws closer and closer. For those new to boating in the PNW Puget Sound area I believe this Guide will be a must have onboard.

I was lucky enough to secure the first request for having my R25 pictured in the Guide for the Edmonds Marina writeup... so look for our R25 on the virtual water 'steaming' toward Edmond's Marina... 😎 ... Have others secured a similar feature with the Dreamweaver's Guide for their Puget Sound located marina or favorite spot ?

Has anyone received notice from Anne/Laurence about the imminent publication of the Dreamspeaker's Puget Sound Guide ? My understanding was it should get released May 2013 and we are fast approaching summer time when I'd like to have it onboard. I have sent Email to Anne/Laurence for an update.

Thanks.

[EDIT]
FYI...
I couldn't resist so I telephoned Anne and had a chat with her. She and Laurence are working long 10 hr days desperately and tirelessly doing the finishing touches. The new release date that Anne said I could mention is mid July 2013... and of course pre-orders are still being accepted.

Anne mentioned she would be at the National Marina Day on June 8th at Bremerton (she will be giving a short presentation there as well) and if anyone was interested they could take a look at a mockup of the new Dreamspeaker's Puget Sound Guide.
