Drop fins for trim tab on R23

I am considering installing drop fins on my trim tabs. Any help, information, details , thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I have reviewed it may times and quite helpful. It is pushing me forward with considering installation. going to make ma template mand then order fins. Is their any further information ? Please!

I used the drop fin as the template by clamping them in place. I used a self centering punch to mark the holes. Drilled. Inserted the screws from the bottom, nuts on top. Took me about an hour.

i had them installed them on our c28.

they make a difference. improve speed, fuel economy, and how the boat rides.
