Hi All,
As we continue to search for our next boat, one item strikes me. On the Ranger Tugs, Ranger decided to go with a single large OB vice 2 Smaller ones. Aside from increased maintenance and initial cost (which are certainly worth considering), seems to me duals would have a few advantages:
1) Redundant reliability (although modern OBs are crazy reliable)
2) If desired, the ability to have a Yamaha Joystick control
3) More charging capacity from 2 alternators.
4) ????
Your thoughts?
