Just wondering if anyone has had this same issue? My “Dual” brand stereo in r23 only plays through cockpit speakers. During my first month of ownership the music was playing through the cabin speakers only. I have tried adjusting the fade setting on stereo. I have had a look at the wiring harness behind dash and everything seems to be ok. I would assume it was a speaker problem but it randomly decides which pair of speakers will work each time. All 4 speakers never work at the same time.
 
My wife is in charge of the music on Elvin Ray, but I do know she uses an app that controls the zones. I’ll see if I can get more info.

You probably have the Dual MGH37BT. Go to play store and download Dual I Plug Smart App....there are several Dual apps listed....there are 3 IPlug apps for different models....get the correct one by checking compatibility listing on app description. The app works better than the remote but can be hinky at times also.....good luck
 
Thanks very much. I have just been using Bluetooth and/or usb plug in so far. I will head to the boat today and check out your recommendation. I appreciate the help.
 
Catch22... Thank you very much. You were absolutely correct. I downloaded the Dual iPlug app and everything works great!
The dual MGH37BT model works with the “Dual iPlug” version in the App Store.

What is the secret to get the Dual iPlug app to connect? When I launch the app, it just says “Device connecting” with a spinner that spins forever. I tried it with my phone already connected via Bluetooth, and also reset everything and tried it that way and no difference. I am using an iPhone and the Dual model in my R23 is MGH25BT.
 
The number of Dual apps is confusing....there are about a dozen different ones with at least 3 being called I plug.....be sure you have the correct one for your unit....If all else fails....the toll free # for Dual is 1 866 382 5476....good luck...
 
For anybody else in the same boat (haha - get it?) as us: the Dual MGH25BT (note the 25 in there) does *not* support the Dual iPlug smart app (none of the many versions). This is the stereo that came from the factory in our 2018 R23, so if you have that model, you can save yourself some time and frustration.
 
Hi,

My Bluetooth is not connecting. I’ve reset the Dual head unit and also reset my iPhone. The battery was low this morning, could that be the issue?
