Duo battery solar panel controller

I have a recently delivered 2019 R29S. I would like to add a second 160 watt panel. It’s not clear from the instructions or the controller itself if it is rated at 10 or 20 amps. Can you clarify please.

Hi John,

Your boat is equipped with the 10 AMP DUAL OUTPUT CONTROLLER AND MIT-1 REMOTE DISPLAY, hope this helps.

Thanks Kevin for authoritative but, unfortunately, not good news.

A thought. There is very little price difference between the 10 and 20 amp models. The latter would accommodate a second panel which is a choice that green boat owners will increasingly be making. Therefore it might be a user-friendly move to install the 20 amp model at the factory.
