Hi all,
We have an R23 Diesel. I was looking for a way to run the heat pump for a few hours while underway. I was planning an inverter and Lithium upgrade. Then i opted for this setup instead.
Using an EcoFlowl Delta 2 1000 watt battery/inverter, and the EcoFlow alternator charger, I get abit over two hours of heat pump run time. The EcoFlow alternator charger will charge the EcoFlow battery/inverter at 800 watts. The Heat pump draws a bit less than 1200 watts. Yielding over two hours of heat pump run time. Added an extra EcoFlow Delta 2 gives well over 4 hours Heat Pump run time.
EcoFlow Delta 2 battery inverter system cost less than $350. EcoFlow Alternator charger cost less than $225. Items come with high quality cables. Both items were purchased refurbished from EcoFlow store on ebay.
Very high quality components and easy install. Basically hook the alternator charger to battery terminals, plug the alternator charger into the battery/inverter, and plug the battery/inverter into the R23 shore power plug. 120 volt power while underway...
Also very nice app control and monitoring.
