Subject: Easy way to secure the helm seat up on R-21EC

I needed to do some work in the electrical locker under the helm seat. As many R-21EC owner will admit, the helm seat has to be folded up and secured with its support pole in order to get access to the locker.

Here's what I ended up doing today and found this method held the seat almost vertical, securely and well out of the way along with placing the support pole aside. No more head banging for me. 😉

Using the telescoping 3 Section Boat Hook extended to hold/secure the helm seat out of the way.

great idea to hold the seat out of the way....more importantly for me is the picture of the adjustable seat slide mechanism.
Now I see the solution for an adjustable seat.
