Electric generator for Cutwater 26

Has anyone ever added an electric generator to their C-26 (or C-28) or knows someone who has? I heard from a boater who said they had seen a C-26 for sale in Florida. They didn’t give any details about it. Was the generator mounted inside the boat or was it a Honda portable one? Was it used while underway?

Any reason to think the generator wasn't a factory install? The spec sheets say it was an option for the C26. https://www.cutwaterboats.com/media/2303/c-26_specsheet_2015.pdf

I suspect you could install a marinized aftermarket diesel generator. I suspect it would install under the forward most hatch on the port side of the cockpit. There's an cooler on the C28 there in a cabinet, with access below that for the generator.
