Have no power in top 2/3 circuits on AC panel. No hot water
Inverter circuits are fine
EGCl seems fine

What boat do you have?
Is your shore power side selected on the panel instead of inverter? You have to physically turn that on
We have R31 CB
No AC
Our AC panel does not have a shore power selector
We have been on the hook for several days with no issues and suddenly no hot water
Getting 400 watts from solar

In our C-28 you get hot water one of three ways:
1. Shore power through the internal heating element in the HW tank.
2. An inverter on that MIGHT be powerful enough to act like shore power and heat the water using its internal heating element. I don’t think our inverter puts out that much power and if it did it would drain the house battery quickly. 400 watts of solar will not keep up with your inverter if it’s running a high amp load in keeping the house battery bank charged.
3. Engine heat from being underway. Liquid from the hot engine is routed through the hot water heater. When we are on the hook after being underway for a few hours (with the inverter off) we only get about 2 days of hot water before it’s cold again.

Is this a new boat for you? I think that unless you have a full lithium setup, you’re not going to have hot water on the hook unless you heated the water up either via diesel or shorepower recently (48hrs). But perhaps 31 is different.

What year?
The water heater only heats from shore power or from running the engine. Unless it's a 2026 with lithium batts...
