I was chatting with a long time fisherman and he mentioned a product called Splash Zone that he always kept on board in case of a thru hull leak due to component failure, or a hull leak from hitting a rock.

While searching for the above, I found Stay Afloat, which may be easier to use since it is not a two component system

I intend to talk to any rescue boat folks I see to get their opinion as to the better product. It sure does seem, literally, like it could be a life saver. And cheap insurance. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff (or equivalent)?
