Hatch does not lift. I manually lift and when letting down it sticks halfway. I push the switch and it engages normally and closes the hatch. Is there some maintenance required? What is your recommendation?
More than likely your trim tabs are down which will not allow the hatch to lift all the way up. Try bringing your tabs all the way up then try operating your engine hatch. It will take a second or two before the hatch starts to rise.
