Entering Total Fuel Onboard

I topped up our fuel tank yesterday and before leaving the fuel dock I fussed about trying to enter the Total Fuel Onboard to the Chart Plotter's system... after several minutes I just couldn't find that elusive setting anywhere and started to get a little frustrated as I know it is a simple thing to do.

...then that little light went on (in my brain, that is)... start the engine silly... and yes, the Total Fuel Onboard setting was easily found and reset.

FYI...
Lesson... Remember to turn on the engine before trying to enter Total Fuel Onboard.

Hi Barry,
I did the same thing a couple years ago on my first fill-up. 😳
It will also work with the key on in case you are in a position where you don't want to start the engine. 🙂

I use this as well. It is amazing how accurate it is. Be aware that it does not take into consideration fuel used by generator.
